In a previous life I was a lawyer and worked for a publisher specialised in the legal field.

Because of a long-term stay abroad and three daughters, my strength for research shifted to the topic of nutrition.

In Dubai, it was not only way warmer than expected but it also turned out to be difficult to find proper baby food or even ecological products.

I’ve always loved cook books, but not the cooking itself. But thanks to various allergies, food intolerances, puberty-related issues, and competitive sports of the children and the dog, I had to go through it.

And I started cooking.

Nowadays, even just for myself, sometimes. Just because it feels good. And that should be reason enough!
